I'm looking forward to enjoying this long weekend - I hope to spend a big chunk of it being creative: I'm working on a new project for this fall, I have several birthdays as well as other gifts that I need to be be making and I hope to get a jump on my holiday cards. As many of you may know, my daughter is in Junior Kindergarten this year and has had three very special teachers as well as a really wonderful, dedicated and hard-working principal. As we are close to Easter and I would like to offer these ladies a little something special, I'll be making a set like this one for them.

I was feeling crafty this afternoon ~ must be the spring air and the sunlight! Using one of my newest stamp sets, Fifth Avenue Floral, I created this card in less than five minutes.
Using White Staz On, stamp the largest flower in repetition without re-inking. Then using Chocolate Chip classic ink, stamp the next two flower images in succession, again without re-inking. Use the Tearing Edge. I used Baja Breeze cardstock to make the layers with a piece of 1/4" grosgrain ribbon in chocolate chip as an accent between layers. The base of the card is a piece of Confetti White cardstock cut in half.
This is a great card to make multiples of as it can be used for a multitude of occasions ~ get well, thank you, birthday, anniversary or a sympathy card - quite easily.
Here's a great card for your mom, grandmother, aunt or sister - great for a spring birthday, Easter or Mother's Day card. With its fine details and an almost vintage feel, these watercolored flowers in a patterned pot are sure to

I have to be honest with my readers: there are a lot of sets, accessories and embellishments in this cattie that I can't wait to get my hands on. In looking at this mini, I've been inspired to create some interesting projects such as trying to duplicate the suitcase in this picture.
Over the next little while, I will be announcing the dates for some really interesting and fun workshops to open my new home studio. While it isn't fully complete yet, my wonderful husband has created a space for me to play in until he finishes off my new studio.
